LeCroy 9414 Gain/Convergence Error
« on: July 26, 2014, 07:17:23 pm »
Good evening...

Just acquired a broken 9414 DSO which shows after self calibration following error when showing the error log:

Code: [Select]
Ch1    Ch2    Ch3    Ch4
3000   1000   0      0

For the 0.1V range...

Interesting is the fact, that when showing the DAC constants the values of dac0 - dac3 for Ch2 are constantly changing...

Applying a square wave signal shows it correctly for Ch1, Ch3 and Ch4, but Ch2 is non-visible, e.g. to high offset, even when choosing GND for Ch2.

Something easy to fix with readjustments?

This is weird...after my Fluke 606A/AN has repaired himself....

Just tried out my new F82357 adapter under Linux to see how it works and if it is possible to make screen dumps not only from traces but also from menues...
Reading through the 9400 remote programming manual I saw that it also support calibration via GPIB...and it returned "0" both for *CAL? and *TST?...

Now with a quick test all channels are working nicely...and no more errors as it can be seen on the screen dumps...
