Lecroy WaveRunner showing signals from nowhere ???????

check the pic... channels 1-3 show signals from the void !!!!!!

I recall having seen similar things in another thread, but can't get to it... if someone has a pointer... I'd be glad !!

You must be kidding !!

Memory issues leading to a square wave, a ramp and a sine wave ????????? I'm not that sceptical by nature, but no... can't eat that one !!    ;-

finally found it...  doesn't smell too good.... (looks like this simulation mode is entered when the PCI interface card can't talk to or gets unexpected results from the acquisition board...

would be highly interested in get some info on how to disable simulation mode in the service menu ??? can't find the check boxes mentioned in the other thread...????

I meant to make that more complete, but was distracted.

I wanted to say it is just saved waveforms in memory - not a fault with memory itself.
