Looking for tech info on wire wound potentiometer/rheostat
« on: October 19, 2017, 12:26:01 am »
I am sure we have all seen the old fashioned wire wound trim pots used forty year ago in so much gear around the place.
These are metal shell bodies an inch in diameter , 0.4 inches tall soldered onto the PCB.
I am looking mechanical information on this style of construction.
I think a mob called CTS  in the states used to make them ( among others?) but their website does not have references to this style  any more.

Any other manufacturer out there who might have information?
Anybody got one of these parts who could measure it up?

Any data sheets or outlets who might supply them?
