They look like reversed sex Peltola connectors but they are not.

I can see that that is a relatively modern design from the small outline surface mount.  Is it audio or RF?

You are correct, it is just plugged together.

Ok, from the picture I assume that the PCB-mounted part has a pin contact, but I cannot make it out really good! Does it intermate with some known series? It looks like the cable-mounted part goes INTO the pcb-mounted part completely. If the PCB jack had a female center contact, it could be a slide-on variant of MCX of 1.0/2.3. But the isolator on the cable-mounted 'plug' says female center contact.
Most closely it resembles the inner parts of a SMB. Without the shell, so to say.
Did you already try the Pasternack Identifier?
What market segment is it?
