[Fixed] - Repairing a Samsung 940BF

Hi

I'm repairing a power supply (CCFL inverter circuit) of a Samsung 940BF monitor.

I change some caps and a fuse (probably works by now) but i don’t know what is the chip P610 CD6F14 (No luck with google (pt)). This chip have the paths a little baked.

This is normal, those mosfets run quiet hot and with time PCB darkens in most of the monitors.

Thanks @TheBay. I Will save that and test this chip before i put everything together. Weird, i couldn't find the brand.

If the monitor is working leave that IC, as Wraper said that's normal.
From looking at the images that's hardly got that warm, I have seen much much worse

BTW, if it does not work after replacing the capacitors, check secondary winding of the CCFL transformers, should measure around 1k.

Apparently is fixed. I'm shore it has the pico fuse 3A that connects to the inverter part (main power supply and the inverter power supply is in the same board but placed in different part) if the motive of a blown fuse are in other side don't know i change some fat caps in the process... will see.
