Sony were pretty conservative with their 27" TVs & Picture Monitors.
From memory, the tubes in all the 27" stuff were interchangeable, from the big old wood pattern TVs with AV inputs ---can't remember their model number,to the KX27 "Profeel" Picture Monitor series.
I seem to remember us having a few KV-27HFRs which I'm fairly sure shared the tube type with the Profeel & others, but I can't actually remember replacing the pix tube in one.
As a TV Studio,we made a lot of use of the services of a CRT "regunner" for all but the most "critical" monitors.
I guess such an occupation would be as extinct as "buggy whip maker" these days!
