Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for the schematics or reference of the 2 missing surface mounts components of this PSU for my Rigol DS1054Z
I've attached a picture and marked the missing components.
Many thanks in advance !

Why do you need this? They are missing for a reason.

Dave did a teardown of the DS1000z scope some time ago and went through the power supply. I don't specifically remember talking about those parts but it may help you. I don't ever remember seeing a schematic other than one Dave traced out the front end and how Rigol does the bandwidth limiting.

Thank you Alex,
The reason for my asking is that this PSU is not working - looks like poor soldering and these 2 components are missing
I've see other pictures of these board where the components are in place but the picture resolution is not good enough

Thank you Mark,
I watched the video but it doesn't go into these details ... I was wondering if someone would be able to share a picture of their board with a focus on these two areas
I know i'm asking for a lot ... Many thanks in advance

The soldering looks fine on this board, and it is pretty clear that those components were not installed by the manufacturer.
Although looking at this picture http://www.experimental-engineering.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/IMG_20150821_134321.jpg (http://www.experimental-engineering.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/IMG_20150821_134321.jpg) , those are resistors with markings "Z6A1" and "6202".
And you have examples of both of them on the board, so you can just measure their value, instead of decoding cryptic codes.
A close up picture with sharp focus would help to determine if they were actually installed there previously.

Many Thanks Alex!
This is perfect - I'll keep you guys updated
Again much appreciated

Hello,
My DS1074Z got spoilt.
I think I saw an explosion on the power supply because I saw the light of the explosion from its back.
Does this SMPS always have this problem?
