Scopemeter is a Fluke brand. You're not going to find even a modern used Scopemeter for under $500. And why would you need a scope for computer repairs? Are you going to check the DDR3 bus for setup and hold time violations? The only use I can see is measuring power supply ripple, but a DMM with a decent bandwidth in ACV mode would probably work just as well.

But as alm points out, those aren't ScopeMeters.  Those companies make oscilloscopes.  Is that what you're looking for?

The word "ScopeMeter" is a Fluke trademark for their portable battery operated isolated oscilloscope/multimeters.  Some people (mis)use it to mean any similar small battery operated isolated scope from any company.  But if you say you want a "scopemeter", most people would assume you don't want anything that could be powered by mains.

I think maybe you want an oscilloscope, but I can't tell, since you haven't said anything about what you want to use it for, or what it might do that your existing scopes don't do.

I have an Owon handheld scope, similar to the Fluke Scopemeter.  It can be very handy in many situations, but it is no substitute for a bench scope...  or rather sometimes it is substituting for a bench scope.

The Owon isn't really high-end, but it might do.  At the very least, the review from Mikeselectricstuff will give you an idea of the capabilities of this type of device and what he finds useful and annoying about them:

He also did a teardown of it:

Well, I think a Logic Analyzer would be a good choice, but other than that, you might want to save up a little more for an Agilent DSO2000 series scope. Otherwise, the Tek scopes do not have enough memory for computer repair.

A decent logic analyzer 2GHz: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Agilent-HP-16702B-Logic-Analyzer-Analysis-System-Mainframe-w-2-16716A-Cards-/251296398145?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a826ebb41

Else just get some Chinese scope.
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.

For handheld under $500, try Saelig.com, and CircuitSpecialists.com
Both carry items in that price range.

I have the Owon HDS3102M-N, but that's $750 or so for the 100Mhz.  It will be a lot less for a 20Mhz model if that will meet your needs.

One thing to watch for on handhelds, some of the lower price ones are only 1 channel.  I'm sure that can be useful, but I made sure I was only choosing among 2 channel units.

I recommend watching Mike's videos to get a feel for this type of device.  Good luck on your choice.
