My Sony PS-4300 record player has a problem that when I press play the turntable motor doesn't spin by itself when I press play

What is the problem?

Could it be the motor? A fuse? Connection problem, or a capacitor or circuit board problem?

You should take measurements.... It can be any problem...

this is a direct drive motor, check the ac selector switch if there is one, powersupply capacitors    etc
