Tektronix rotary switch
« on: March 01, 2017, 02:08:12 pm »
The Tektronix AM502 has this peculiar rotary switch which has thin metal wipers which are pushed into place by rotation of the knob, causing different positions to short. Unfortunately, some of them seem to have been bent out of shape causing them to not make contact any more. I am going to try to straighten them, but does anyone know any sources for getting a replacement?

The Tektronix part number is 263-1005-00. It is a 10 position rotary switch (single pole, 10 throw).

Thanks.

Find another AM502 parts donor is probably your best bet.

Sometimes the aftermarket Tek parts distributors have NOS stock but that switch seems to be pretty rare.
