Thermal image camera Argus
« on: April 13, 2016, 12:23:23 pm »
Hi All

I am new here and was hoping for some help.

I have an issue with Rodents in the cavity in my home and was thinking of buying a thermal camera to see if I can find where in the cavity they are hiding/coming in.

I have the opportunity of an Argus EEV camera, however it does not appear to work, the screen does not show an image, it just shows static.  I imagine that this is a "How long is a piece of string" type question but does anyone know if this may be repairable ans if so what sort of ball park figure would I be looking at.  It also does not have a battery.

Kind Regards

Nelix

Rodent cure is to get some Finale wax pellets, and place the pellets, with a dollop of peanut butter on them, in the cavity, along with some water in a bowl. Replace as they get eaten, and after around day 3 there will be no more activity.

As to the camera, contact Fraser here on the forum, he might have some help for you.
