UPS Accu leaked

From my good old MGE UPS the 2 of 3 Accu blows up and leak. 
What is the Main problem Heat or Cold?
So whats next? The Cable look not that bad. Put them into an Ultrasonic Bath with Vinegar?
How about the UPS? Could there Accid left?
Should I open the Electric part?

First clean everything with a solution of baking soda to remove sulfuric acid.

I rinse the Plastic thing off and the Cable.
Tomorrow I will inspect the UPS now its cold and dark on the attic.
The UPS is still under Power who 2 Server run behind.

Tomarrow might be too late. You need to get the acid out NOW before it corrodes everything. It might even already be ruined if the acid got into the electronics, so definately unplug it until you're sure the acid didn't get into anything else electrical.

The UPS Accu leaked for a wile. I was just ordered replace Accu and yesterday I opened it and pull the Tray out.
