Voltcraft DPS-4005PFC Firmware or HEX files needed
« on: January 26, 2015, 08:31:00 am »
Hello everyone, I recently acquired a Voltcraft DPS-4005PFC 0-40V, 0-5A power supply which unfortunately is missing the 2 micro-controllers inside, the W78C32B-40 from Windbond and the Atmel AT89C51. I want to see if there's any life left in it and maybe get it back to full functioning condition, so if anyone has some idea where I might find the HEX files (if they exist somewhere in the Internet) for these two chips, please tell me, because after a few days of searching I found nothing promising.
Also I found that my power supply is a close relative of the Instek PSP-405, if this helps.

If all else fails, I'll spin my own power supply out of this. An Arduino or a micro (or two) might get the job done.

Thank you

Hello, still in search for the firmware?

I have currently Voltcraft 4005 without PFC, but as far as I am concerned, that shouldn't matter, as the PFC has nothing in common with the MCUs, I guess.
