Wavetek 186 repair.

Welcome.
This is my first post so hello everyone.
Sorry for my English but I use a translator.

I bought a generator Wavetek 186
For sine wave distortion can see the upper and lower halves - the pin.
I put pictures.
Distortion strongest seen in the range of 100K and 1M.

Please help what this can do.

Looking for a manual for this generator.
If anyone has would really help.

Generators for which instructions are generally available, are not similar to the model;)

As for the distortion sine I do not know where to start looking.
It is also possible that such distortions are acceptable in this model.
I do not know.

So please help more experienced colleagues, who have experience with this model generator.

Below is a parts list, no online manual. You unit has a high ish distortion on the 100k range, and will get worse, basing it on the specs.  If the below link doesnt work look up: liberated manuals wavetek 186.

I think you just have to expect these kind of distortions from an RC generator. AFAIK these work by converting a triangle wave into a sine wave so it is logical to have some distortion at the top of a sine wave.

Agree. But I also have a generator Interstate F72 to 20MHz. Sine wave is made identically, and the output waveform is clear. In the entire range, there is no spikes.
