What is this SMD component?
« on: April 13, 2017, 08:34:19 am »
Can anyone help me identify the component in the center of this photo, marked 033A?  I'm pretty sure it's blown and I'd like to replace it, but I don't know exactly what it is.  It's some sort of switching device, maybe a FET?  The top pin is the control pin.  The intended behavior seems to be that when the top pin has 3.8V, the two lower pins are not connected.  When the top pin has 1.4V, the lower left pin is connected to the lower right pin which is tied to ground.  Any ideas?  I've done Google searches every way I know how but haven't gotten any positive results yet.

Searching for "Holtek 033A" returns useful results. HT7033A-1 is a "voltage detector".
tldr; if input is >3.3V, the output is disconnected (Hi-Z). When the input falls below 3.3V, the output is pulled to ground.

I also need help identifying a part named "NMR1", all I can find is this: http://www.ic-smd.com/ssot23.asp?g=7800&s=NMR1 but it doesn't tell me much.

Yes, that totally makes sense!  That's exactly what it is.  Thanks so much!  I didn't recognize the trademark which is why I couldn't find it myself.
