SORTED: Blackjack BK4050 (fuse help)
« on: January 12, 2018, 11:26:17 pm »
Probably about a year ago I stole the fuse from my BK4050 to repair a computer that was needed urgently.  I kept the blown one in a safe place to order a replacement but forgot and obviously I've now forgotten where the safe place is.  There is no sticker stating the rating but looking at it I think I can guess that it's a 20mm glass fuse.  I would also guess that it's a 3amp but it could possibly be 5amp.  If someone who has one could possibly check it would help me out.

Many thanks.

Sorry, I don't have that model. But just give Circuit Specalists a call. I'm sure they can help you.

I did do originally but they didn't know.  They were very helpful though and a few days later I've come home to an email telling me the size and rating.  I worked out that it was a 5/20 fuse and was sure it would be 3 or 5 amp.  They confirmed it was 3 amp so I can replace that tomorrow to mend my son's phone :-)
