G'day all,
I've recently installed a second battery in my car for camping and have been looking at different commercial charging methods
http://www.redarc.com.au/products/product/smart-start-bcdc/. I thought as a nice project I could build a DC-DC charger for it.
I have a question regarding DC-DC chargers though. I'm basically looking for a RF friendly boost converter that could throw at least 5A into a sealed lead acid battery from as little as 11v. Preferably one that I could control the charging currents and voltages through a micro controller or the package does it itself.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
