Datasheet/Manual for an old Heathkit
« on: April 24, 2015, 04:29:49 am »
Not sure if this is the right place to ask for this but I have this old Heathkit MCU programmer but not sure how to use it.
Does anyone know where I can get a manual or datasheet, or even just some general info on it?

It's not a "MCU Programmer", but (as it says on the case) a "microcomputer learning system" i.e. a training / education device to teach the basics of microprocessors.

Info & Manuals.

(edit: yours looks like what I think was one of the later versions, with cheaper keyboard & slightly different memory arrangement. As far as I remember the circuit didn't change much, if at all - but it's probably been 30 years since I saw one!)

OMG. I was not expecting such a quick result. And, yes, I am using "MCU Programmer" way to generally here. Could you guess I am very greatful for Visual Studio's refactoring abilities when it comes to variable, class, and method names?

Anyway. Thank you VERY much. I have been looking for those docs on and off for years!
