EMF Meter, any use for pre-compliance check for CE/FCC?

It would be nice to have low-cost handheld meter to do pre-compliance check on assembled PCB before investing to more expensive pre-compliance check to isolate a specific area of issue.

Do they really work or it just waste of time and money. Has anyone tried using the TriField 100XE
