Hi. I've been looking for a Goot topic in this forum but couldn't find 1. I'm planning to upgrade my soldering station. I'm eager to try this new kind of technology which the heating element itself built in with the tip. Right now my current setup is Quick TS1100. Had it almost a year. It pretty much a Hakko FX-888D with better interface plus auto sleep features. Back to my main subject, these 2 stations use same tip technology as JBC. Normally on this forumers would straight recommend JBC station but I lived in Malaysia and hard to get JBC stations with Warranty around here. I'm left with either Hakko FX-951 or Goot RX-802AS or RX-852AS.

Goot RX-802AS power rated for the handpiece 72W, RX-852AS = 150W and FX-951 = 70W (if I'm not mistaken).
As for price the FX-951 is around $410 in Malaysia whereas Goot RX-802AS = 230$, RX-852AS = $380.

If I'm going choose FX-951, I'm better of with RX-802AS for same amount of power for less money. But the RX-852AS is rated 150W for $380, is there any big difference in term of extra wattage?
Here's link for RX-802AS

RX-852AS

p/s : the RX-8 series tip only cost around $11-$20 which is cheaper than T12/T15 tips  :-DD
