Searching different articles on the net concerning UT5JCW transverters meases (and particularly the 432 to 28 MHz one), did anybody make real gain/Nf meases (principally Nf) of the total Rx conversion with an NGA (Eaton 2075 or HP8970) ? ? ?
Because I didn't find ansolutely nothing about ! ! !
And more said, did anybody look at the great meas differences obtained between his 3 versions N-2 (with relay + diode mixer), then N-1 or actual N models (with PIN diode switching) ? ?
UT5JCW says that he measures every transverter before shipping, and that in every case the Nf will be less than 1dB.
I did a complete study on it with an another french ham very known as RF measuring specialist.
So I want anybody to exchange about this important subject (and also for every 50, 70, 144, 22 or 432 MHz family, also via direct mail)
Before buying specifically the 28/432 MHz model (exactly 3 successive generations), have a little look at its RF Tx and Rx measurements posted on !
