Looking for a new (E)EPROM programmer
« on: October 25, 2014, 07:09:23 pm »
Hey everyone just joined today.

I am looking for a new EEPROM/EPROM programmer, currently I have a Willem GQ-4X and it is OK for 32 pin DIP chips but anything that I need an adapter for it's hit or miss.

Currently I am looking at the Xeltek SuperPro 610P but I have not been able to find any reviews on them.  Does anyone here use a Xeltek programmer and how well does it work?  I will be programming 32 and 42 27C series chips, 29F series TSOP chips and maybe a few MX29L3211 SOP chips

Thanks for reading.

I have a now obsolete SP3000. It didn't get a lot of use and now gets hardly any.

It did everything I asked of it without problem.

One of my customers also has an SP3000 and on my recommendation about a year ago bought a 601S for a second location. They have had no problems with it.
