Mektronics Digital Microscope

Latest marketing blurb from Mektronics, an Australian equipment supplier, includes a pair of microscopes with built in screens.

They don't list a brand but the second one looks like an Andonstar product.

I'm fairly dismissive of using USB microscopes for soldering strongly preferring a pure optical path.

However with the built in screen they should be able to update without much lag and the price is very impressive.
Has anyone used a product like this?
Is the lag low enough to allow soldering under the screen?

Usually the display and digital camera are modular and made by someone else so that is no guaranty of low latency.
