My Flux Syringe gizmo... :)
« on: December 01, 2017, 12:54:59 am »
I got fed up trying to control the flow of my (expensive) tacky flux from a stiff syringe, so I made this adapter which uses a screw threaded housing for the syringe. Slip the syringe in and screw the top on, an easy turn of the top dispenses small amounts of flux. Sorted :)

thats a interesting work surface mat ... what do you call it? (looks like a china product)

It's one of those silicone solder mats, supposedly heat resistant up to about 500degC. Yep, a China product bought off ebay :)

Are those silicone mats ESD safe?
