NX Schematic vs Autocad Electrical
« on: August 07, 2015, 04:35:47 am »
Currently my company uses Siemens NX for most things like site layout and mech systems but the electrical group uses AutoCAD Electrical for power and PLCs. There is a general consensus that acad is better the carving our schematics into a mammoth tusk with a rock but only just. Siemens list LTX as a partner software that does schematic capture, has anyone used it how dated is it LTX website hasn't been updated in a while. I'm also open to suggestion for any other schematic capture program that would play well with NX.

I use Bentley Promis-e.
It's fantastic for electrical but honestly don't know its integration with NX.
I would look it up but being in china currently many websites are hard to get to and my VPN is being a bit weird.
