I'm looking to buy a programmable keypad to speed up my work in CAD systems. My requirements are:
-about 40-50 keys
-USB
-compatible with Win 8.1
-exchangable key graphics (eg. a transparent plastic cover under which you can put a slip of paper with a symbol)
-obtainable in EU for around $100 / €75
-multi character macros (eg. one key for 'TGM' (polygon manager) in Altium)
Most keyboards of that type are intended for POS usage, so they are very primitive (eg. PS/2 connection, only supported up to winXP, no multi-character macro capability etc). I know I could build that myself, but I don't have time for screwing around.
