Quick look at an industrial battery charger
« on: January 26, 2016, 11:23:28 pm »
Just a few pictures of an industrial 24V battery charger that's designed to run 24/7 keeping batteries floated.
we're replacing a whole lot of cheap Chinese ones in our generators that are starting to fail with these Taiwanese ones.
we have dealt with Kutai before with some of their ATS switches and their products seem very nice.

all caps are Nippon Chemicon 105C

Looks nice, good hv/lv separation and temperature control. But I noticed that the ground pin don't look like its connected to anything ? It should atleast be connected to the chassis to avoid electric shock to the users and to divert any static electric to ground instead of maybe zapping thru to the inside electronics.

Looks like a plastic chassis, no? Connecting it to ground would have no effect whatsoever.
