Toyota HV inverter.
« on: November 07, 2017, 04:32:24 pm »
I have a Toyota HV inverter. Given that the IGBTs is to the bottom of the inverter. Does anyone know what the module on the second picture is?

It is for a hybrid Toyota. They have 3 engines coupled together, one combustion, and 2 motor/generator, one smaller and one bigger. So you probably have two IGBT blocks.

That appears to be some capacitors.

It probably capacitors, yes. Given a resistor (bleed resistor ?) across two terminals. Or it could be a boost converter in one packet?
