WLX-936D Solder Station schematic
« on: July 06, 2017, 11:06:16 pm »
I bought one of these in 2015 for £28 and was quite happy with it until recently.
It started giving all weird problems, temperature fluctuating, flashing display, dead display etc.
So I decided to take it apart to see if I can find the problem and maybe fix it.
While it was apart, I decided to redraw the schematic (as accurate as I can)
To my surprise it actually uses an Atmega8a-AU.

This is the result:  (See attachments)

In the end I decided just to "upgrade" it to this :

Gotta love how whoever assembled that completely ignored the strain relief holes for 9V and 24V wires.
