[Video] Radio technology display and demonstration

Last weekend the Wireless Institute of Australia held its annual convention at Hahndorf, just outside Adelaide.

A major event on the Sunday was the 'Come and Try Radio Day' at the local football oval. 

This was a cooperative event organised by Adelaide's amateur radio clubs. 

Numerous radio activities were on show including a near-space balloon launch (and tracking), microwave (gigahertz) communication, amateur television, home construction, antennas and more.
