AQI and APRS
« on: November 16, 2018, 06:12:05 pm »
It's the fad around here now to watch the air quality indicators. The air quality management district only has so many indicators, so I thought someone on the APRS network would have one linked up, but I could not find any.

Anyone know about the hardware to get that done?

Also, there is a WX station just about every block, hundreds in the area. Are these usually canned systems and just plugged into a network?

is this at all useful without wind and temperature modeling incorporated? Don't they behave like plumes? Can you get any information from a point?

I'm unsure of your meanings there, but information yes, even if you can't overlay the data with other sources...

This is a measure of specific particulates at a certain time.
