avoiding interference in the CC1101 reception
« on: May 24, 2018, 11:48:17 am »
I'm trying to get signals in the 433MHz band (specifically, at 433.8MHz), but I keep capturing interference, which makes the reception of the wanted signal very slow and incomplete (therefore, incorrect).

I set up an RX filter of 200KHz, and the following values for the registers:

  • AGCCTRL2=0x03 to 0x07
  • AGCCTRL1=0x00
  • AGCCTRL0= 0x91 to 0x93

I also configured the IF values shown here: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra215e/swra215e.pdf

In addition, I tried to set up some thresholds to make sure I capture the signal when its RSSI is inside a valid range, but the interference is still there. I don't mind if the interference is recorded, the problem is the effect when it's transmitted at the same time as the wanted signal because the receiver can't deal with it  :-BROKE

any hint please? thank you!
