Keysight network analyzer E5061B
« on: February 20, 2017, 05:32:36 pm »
Just receive this device for one project and already configure it for the purpose.
But to perform all this measurements manually can cause additional mistakes .
Due to this I would like to automate this process .
I already connect to device via telnet using 5024 .
But when I saw this manual ( http://anlage.umd.edu/Microwave%20Measurements%20for%20Personal%20Web%20Site/E5062A_Programmers_Guide_E5061-90042.pdf)
looks like it will take more time that I have .
Maybe anyone have some example of code how to initialize this device via telnet  ?
Is it posible to setup device manually and only get value from the markers ?

I found this command :CALC{1-4}:MARK{1-10} - but device ignore it and only beeping with error  :-//.

Thanks in advance .

Never used Telnet or that analyser but try this:

:CALC1:MARK1 ON
:CALC1:MARK1:FUNC:TYPE MAX
:CALC1:MARK1:FUNC:EXEC
:CALC1:MARK1:X?

Does this turn on marker1 and then do a search for max and then tell you the frequency of marker1 ?
