noise source (seems to be confusion)
« on: July 23, 2017, 04:15:50 am »
I see noise sources, noise power meters and fully integrated units.

I am looking for someone that (preferably has N or SMA/2.9mm connectors, that I can plug to my device under test, turn the thing on, and see a nice curve of whats my deice under test doing. I understand a swept sworce) like one I have, will probably have a slightly difference response.

I understand my swept noise source will probably require its own power source, but I would like to own one.

Does anyone have any tips for such a setup (the 1MHz sweep (ddue to the DAC ) in my sweeper is annoying me and I would like a truly analog noise source.

Thanks,

Not sure if I understand your question, but if you're looking for an inexpensive wide band noise source, you can check out one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-verison-Noise-Source-Simple-Spectrum-External-Generator-Tracking-Source-SMA-/172241109978
