Please keep on doing the old tube gear Buddy, I find it fascinating to see something that was manufactured before I was born being stripped down and repaired.
Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.

Thanks. I love old tube gear.  It is easy to work on compared to modern day stuff.  very enjoyable. More to come. I am rebuilding a Viking II and a 122 VFO for it.

Cool deal Sue.
Hope you like it.

BTW, I just posted a thread here on this group. Hoping someone can give a old dog new tricks. This is dealing with the Icom 745 ram board.
I like to be able to read the content of the old board with modern programming.
