SAW/BAW filter identification
« on: May 18, 2017, 02:20:28 pm »
Hi,

I need to identify an unknown filter. It's in a typical SAW filter capsule. Marking is
T6
E2

Bw 50Mhz
Fc 1086Mhz
IL 0.7 dB

Thanks!

/K

Have you checked Tai-Saw filters? The markings remind me of their filters.  How did you get the BW, Fc and IL values? IL seems to be too good to be true.

Found it. It's a Sawnics SA1090HP

I measured the IL with a calibrated VNA in a small test fixture. Yes, it's very low indeed. Notice that rejection is really not that great though.
