USB RFID reader to GPIO Pins

Hello,

I have a USB RFID reader and I would like to use it on one of my projects. The issue is that I dont want to use the USB port, but hard wire it on perfboard which I will attach it on my Raspberry Pi.
How can I do that? I have used an RC522 before, but thats made for that purpose I guess. any advices?
