This video shows how to determine complex reflection coefficient (gamma), VSWR, Return Loss given a complex load impedance, and easily determine how this impedance is transformed when a transmission line is added between the source and the load:

Thanks for these videos, I found them extremely  helpful.
I wish I had one of those nice Tek VNAs! If I use my brain (the hard part)  I can do pretty well without though.

I want that Tek VNA pretty bad now too.

My bench has plenty of 80's and 90's machines that are the size of Volkswagen Beatles. Amazing how much fits in a tiny box these days.
