Keeping all the shit in one place makes sense.  You will know to expect the smell - and avoid it if you're not in the mood.

Can it accommodate suspect crowd funded projects too? Then the crowd funded projects board can be just for publicizing and supporting the development of well engineered ones.

Hard call that one, I'll leave it up to the initial poster to decide where to put it.
Complete scam ones like the Triton Gill, new section for sure, others like say the Batteriser probably best in the Crowd funded section.
