full review and teardown of rigol ds10074z/z-s

I know there are people who have done bits before and you have looked at it briefly but it would be nice if you could do a full review and teardown on of a ds1000z or z-s, I would do one if i could but i dont have a good camera, we would be very greatfull.

I would love to see a teardown of the Rigol DS1000z vs DS2000A-S model too.

Is there any real reason why we need a full tear-down of the DS1**4z series? I very much doubt that there will be any fundamental difference between it and the DS2**2 series. The power supply will be the same. The controls will be fundamentally the same. I very much suspect that the inputs will just be a second copy of the input for the 2-channel scope, Fed into the same DSP chip.

The only thing that might be interesting is the logic analyser. Even then, I would suspect that it would be a single chip solution, so not really much new content there.

Yes, but a lot of new comers would like to see Dave talk about DS1000z vs DS2000A-S. Wish one he would purchase for his first scope.
