10 MHz Reference Oscillator Calibration of RIGOL DSA1030A
« on: August 30, 2016, 10:32:09 pm »
Goodmorning everyone,

I have found the problem that the internal reference oscillator 10 MHZ in DSA1030A / TG works in frequency 3,8Hz below.  :-BROKE

Does anyone know the access procedure to the internal reference oscillator 10 MHz calibration of DSA1030A.  ^-^

I looked for news in the Forum, but I found instructions for the procedure only DSA815 model.

Thanks in advance, to those who want to be of help to the DSA1030 owners :-+

Thank you. :-+

3.8Hz on a 10MHz is a 0.38 PPM... Spec for DSA is max 3 PPM per year and max 3PPM per °C.....
So your DSA is 10 times better than spec.....

So no calibration needed...  If you want better long term stability, you'll have to buy better external 10 MHz reference (GPS disciplined for instance) and connect it to REF IN on the analyser..
