I guess we are all impatiently waiting for them to arrive in the USA. Let's hope that nobody has filed a trademark claim on the color of the case causing all the USA-bound meters to be sent to the crusher  :(

It's not that, just shipping/import issues. Scroll to Daves comments,  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eevblog/eevblog-121gw-multimeter/posts/2089848

OK, but that's sort of 'old news'.  More important is 'what is happening today?'.

From one of the meter threads, it appears that a few US meters have been delivered.  Is that true?  Are they from the Great Scott batch?

Was that a supporter's shipment or a Kickstarter shipment?

The camera I am using do not have that good auto focusing and
I was raising my hand to focusing to settle.

I only have 2000 view total at the moment and not qualified to add
custom thumbnails at the moment, seems like YouTube changed the thumbnail for me :)

I liked to the first thumbnail :)

The iPhone App isn't being very cooperative, or maybe it's something I'm missing.

That doesn't look like David2's app, but the crappy app commissioned by UEi.  The real app doesn't seem to have hit the Apple App Store, at least for Australia.

David2's app isn't able to do VA logging either and has more problems with keeping the sampling interval constant than the UEI app on Android.

Dave still has around 2,000 units to ship to Kickstarter backers, but considering the current issues and "fine tuning" of the 121GW, it might be a while before he can get that rolling - assuming the component supply issues have been resolved.

Then he can consider putting it into his own EEVblog shop.

Don't know when he would look at other distributors - but I don't think it will be any time soon.

Welectron in .de (.eu) will stock them as well. Maybe this will happen the same time, when Dave is stocking them in his webshop.

https://www.welectron.com/

From the Kickstarter page:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eevblog/eevblog-121gw-multimeter/posts/2071785?cursor=19014885

"For EU customers, that VAT invoice will come shortly. Welectron in Germany will be doing the re-shipping for us within the EU, and they will be stocking the meter in the EU after the campaign ends."

Edit:
I would suggest, to discuss this topic in this thread:
