Anybody buy one of these when they were on sale? Any reviews of them?

A couple of people reported that they had - I'm interested in knowing how good they are as there are quite a few models still on sale as far as I know:

I had some email exchanges with them when they first went on sale. Basically none of the hardware options are available but they sell the software options (quite expensive though - I can't remember the exact costs).
Also the 8GHz TGs went very quickly on the lower priced models so only the 3GHz one remains.

I was hoping some of the early adopters would provide some feedback, but apart from some initial impressions they've been too busy to do so (which is fair enough).
