Agilent 6627A DC Power Supply

I have some question regarding the use of this nice supply and could not find any answers in the user manual.
Maybe someone can help out?

-> Is it possible to configure the power-on state of the outputs to “DISABLE”?
-> Is there a way to switch on/off all outputs simultaneously?

Looks like you can change the power on state using GPIB and STO 0 command - page 71:

page 75 has some info about saving all of the output states and restoring them all at once via GPIB.

Edit: Also on page 89 it shows how to do it from the keypad.

I've got one of these, but it takes up too much space so its under the desk at the moment. I don't have a GPIB adapter though so haven't experimented with that.

update:
The command DCPON allows to set the state of all outputs at power-on.
This state will be saved in EEPROM automatically.

BUT: How do I turn on/off all outputs simultaneously during operation?

When I pointed you to page 89 in the manual I was thinking you could do this:

Set all channels to 0v and save to register 1
STO 1 Enter
Then set the voltage you want and save to register 2
STO 2 Enter

Then RCL 1 Enter turns them off, and RCL 2 Enter turns them on.

The manual says that disabling an output just sets it to 0v and a very low current limit.

Heh, yeah. And it seems that if you want that feature, you have to pay for it - and supply your own relays:

I guess that's a feature so that you can have your choice of electronically controlled switch.
