Hi all,
I have a couple of this power supplies, and are driving me crazy. When the power supply is ON, but the output is dissabled, the impedance between + and - binding posts goes to about 5 ohms shorting the circuit it powers. This impedance with the power supply fully turned off goes to 1k ohm. Its the over voltage protection circuit (crowbar) that shorts the output, but its behaviour is by design.
Does anybody know if this happens in the new Rigol 832 supplies?
Regards
