Does someone have a working HP3468?
« on: August 11, 2013, 03:42:26 pm »

Hey, I am trying to troubleshoot the unit I've bought from ebay.

The repair manual explicitly says that the current is supposed to be 1mA for 3k range, but does not specify it for the other ranges.

If you have a working version of HP3468, can you measure and post the ohms measuring current for different ranges?
I am specifically interested in the 3 lowest ranges.

Just measured the currents on my 3468B.
Here are the results:
  • 300ohm - 1mA
  • 3kohm - 1mA
  • 30kohm - 100uA
  • 300kohm - 10uA
  • 3Mohm - 1uA
  • 30Mohm - 100nA
<fellbuendel> it's arduino, you're not supposed to know anything about what you're doing
<fellbuendel> if you knew, you wouldn't be using it
