Does anyone have a O/S recovery DVD for an Agilent 16900B series logic analyzer?

I have a 16902B analyzer that the hard drive is trashed. If someone could make an .ISO image and upload it to http://global-files.net/ I'd greatly appreciate it!
Needs to be Windows XP, The motherboard in this one is the M-880 Nitro board.

I did try the 16900A recovery CD, but that wouldn't install. In case anyone needs it, here's a link to that one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/436qjjla7c05h64/16900-14121.ISO?dl=0

Thanks!
Jay

If you contact Keysight, they will post it to their ftp repository

Thanks. I tried to post in their logic analyzer forum, and even though I was logged in, I got an error message: "You are not allowed to create or update this content"

Might have to contact support directly.

For a 16902B with an ADLINK M-880 motherboard the recovery DVD you want is 16902-14100, according to information from Keysight a while ago.

If you do contact someone at Keysight and get them to post an image of the recovery DVD on their FTP site then post an update here so other people can grab a copy before it disappears a few days later.

How were people expected to use the recovery DVD on a 16902B, which doesn't have a built in DVD drive? Use an external USB DVD drive?

I have 16900A / 16902A and 16903A ADLINK M-815G motherboard recovery images, but not a 16902B ADLINK M-880 motherboard recovery image.

I also have ADLINK M-890 motherboard versions of the 16901A and 16902B. As far as I know there was never any recovery media available for them. You can recover to the factory install image by booting into the recovery mode, which restores the boot partition from a file system image on a hidden recovery partition. If the drive dies or becomes completely corrupted you are normally out of luck.

At one point the 16902B M-880 DVD recovery image files were available here:

ftp.keysight.com/cos/outbound/16xxx recovery images/16902-14100/
ftp.keysight.com/cos/outbound/16xxx recovery images/16902-14100/16902-14100.pdf
ftp.keysight.com/cos/outbound/16xxx recovery images/16902-14100/16902-14100_disk_1.iso

On another thread someone else just mentioned that the Internet Archive currently has a snapshot of the Keysight FTP site from back in 2015.

https://archive.org/download/ftp.keysight.com/2015.03.ftp.keysight.com.tar/ftp.keysight.com%2Fcos%2Foutbound%2F16xxx%20recovery%20images%2F16902-14100%2F16902-14100.pdf

The recovery DVD image 16902-14100_disk_1.iso is 2,170,066,944 bytes in size.

The \Recovery\ag16902.xml file in this DVD image contains the following version information:

<CodeVersion>03.67.0000</CodeVersion>
<ProductName>16902B Logic Analysis System</ProductName>
<OSName>Windows XP Pro w/SP2b</OSName>
<ReleaseDate>30 Sep 2007</ReleaseDate>

<FrameDescription>
   <Device VendorID="0x15BC" DeviceID="0x0505"/>
   <FrameString Segment="F000" Offset="085A" Value="Agilent Technologies"/>
   <FrameString Segment="F000" Offset="086F" Value="16902"/>
   <FrameString Segment="F000" Offset="E0C1" Value="M-880"/>
</FrameDescription>

I don't have an M-880 motherboard 16902B system to try this recovery DVD image myself.

Fantastic! Thank you VERY much for that. The DVD worked.
The only other things that are required:

1. Windows XP SP3 (The restore DVD is SP2)
2. A network connection to the Internet for for installing the MS dot.net stuff.
3. The analyzer software which is downloadable from Keysight.
4. A USB DVD drive.

I should note that Jason @ Keysight responded on the first business day with a link for the .ISO file.

Top notch service from Keysight as usual.
