Atten ADS 1022CL+ latest firmware

I have an Atten ADS 1022CL+ with:

Software Version: 5.06.02.16
Hardware Version: 11-62-2.6

Could you please tell me what is the latest firmware? Which is the Siglent equivalent firmware scope?

It's brand "new", i never flash any firmware and gratten don't want to send me the latest firmware because it's an outdated product....

I really don't know where i can find the firmware...

Did you use a time-machine?

It's a present and it was the last unsold piece.... but it's my first scope!

we can see that your Atten is a Prod_ID = 80 and I don't know of any Siglent with that prod_ID.

(Of course the number of Atten FW and old Siglent samples that I possess is limited.)

I only have this one:
ATTEN_ADS1000CL+_V100R003B01D01P31R16.ADS
Product_ID: 80

So, it shouldn't be possible to crossflash to Siglent. I would not risk it without a explicit confirmation from another guy.

BTW, your FW version should be one of the latest.

Somehow it looks like Siglent SDS1052DL+  except bandwidth (50MHz)
But I think still most near Siglent model. (exept if someone find Siglent 1022DL+)
Atten 1022CL+ is 25MHz model.

But many basic data match... samplerate, memory... even same display resolution (time ago Siglent rise display resolution in DL/CNL/CML series adding + after model.

SDS1052DL+  is cheap robust "basic school scope".
500MSa/s
7" 800x480 display.   (Older SDS1000DL (example SDS1022DL) and CNL and CML models without + have 7" 480x234 )
32k memory  (but Atten info what I find they have 40k but also who knows if this info is ok)


If some of main things in specs do not match then it is more like not compatible... but who knows..

(in Siglent models only advantage in these some older SDS1000 models is that they can run full  dual timebase with also separate trig for both Ch)

If I remember right there was also in Siglent some older DL 20MHz model..


I have no idea if Siglent SDS1052DL+  FW is compatible with this, Who knows how many changes they do for OEM/ODM products and also Atten can order manufacturing from who ever company if they want cut price from every detail.

Perhaps it is wise to carefully compare your Atten and Siglent user manuals and data sheet and try look what are differences. And also other methods how to detect what it is exactly.

(when you read look carefully you read right models in documents because they are all in same paper. And not very perfectly informed in every detail what things are not compatible in some model)

Attention: This information is not correct.

The Siglent SDS1000DL+ is a ARM machine.  I think, it should be the same as the Atten ADS1000DL.

The Atten ADS1000CL+ is a Blackfin machine. I think the CL model was exclusive of Atten (although made by Siglent).

Totally different despite the technical characteristics.

The .LDR extracted from the ATTEN_ADS1000CL+_V100R003B01D01P31R16 FW is attached.

The Blackfin Loader File (.LDR) is the the binary file that contains all the memory blocks that must be loaded into the proc memory plus information about its start address, etc.

(it is extratect from the Siglent encrypted/compressed .ADS file.)
