I don't know if anyone has done this in this manor yet, not that I found at least. This uses a device called a Lenmar Chugplug, which is a power bank for Macbook Airs and the 13" Pro.
It claims to output anywhere from 120-250VDC. I measured it at ~160VDC unloaded and with the scope plugged in and on at ~190VDC. It is rated for a max of 65W on its output.
All you have to do is make a cable to convert the figure 8 male end into a standard IEC connector.
The internal Li-Ion cells are specced at a total of 44Wh on the box, but I haven't measured the capacity myself.
It even came with a nice carry bag

The ground is not passed through to where the Macbook charger would reside.
It will not start the DS1000Z if you use its power button, but if you switch the Rigol on then the chug plug on it works fine. I'd bet on the inrush current is at play and the boost converter shuts off because of it.
