Siglent SLA1016 decode function on SDS1104x-E
« on: February 13, 2024, 07:35:14 pm »
I cannot get the decode function on the SDS1104 to work with an I2C bus on the SLA1016 digital pins. It works perfectly on the scope directly if use an oscilloscope channel. Not sure if this is a supported feature or am I doing something wrong?

Shift the digital input connections up by 1, so you use D1 and D2 inputs so you don’t use D0…. But still use D0 and D1 on the scope settings.

There is a bug, I will be showing this in an upcoming review video next week.

Wow. That worked - how on earth did you figure that out!

I will check out your channel to learn more about that bug.

Another nice feature missing from the DSO is that horizontal time base zoom that is only available if you use the scope channels - that thing saves so much time.
